Jules Gabriel Verne was a French novelist, poet, playwright, and one of the founding members of Plus Ultra and Tomorrowland, along with Nikola Tesla, Gustave Eiffel, and Thomas Edison. He was best known for his adventure novels and his profound influence on the literary genre of science fiction.

Some of his best known works include Journey to the Center of the Earth, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, From The Earth To The Moon, and The Begum's Fortune.
